September After-Hours networking event for Avery County Chamber members. This iconic building, part of the Historic Commons, was recently restored to its original splendor. Lees-McRae President Lee King emphasizes that the renovations represent a bold new vision for the college’s future. The North Carolina building has been converted into an event space that highlights the building’s historic charm with the original roof trusses left exposed, including Rev. Edgar Tufts’ signature on one of the trusses, a relic from a century ago. This is a great opportunity to connect with local professionals in a historic setting that highlights the transformation occurring at Lees-McRae College.
